|U.S. Economic Development Administration Takes Note|

celebrating the Creative Economies Initiative recent achievement of being named
a finalist for the 2009 Economic Development Administration's
Excellence in Economic Development Awards by the U.S.
Department of Commerce.

Initiative was announced to the tourism industry by Governor Sonny Perdue in
2007 and led by the Georgia Tourism
The site was launched on January 27, 2009 and is
operated by the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
